CLEANING THE FUEL TANK
Empty the fuel tank.
Undo the drain plug (if availa-
ble) and allow any impurities to
run off into a suitable recepta-
cle (Fig. 13).
Rinse out the tank with clean
diesel fuel and close the drain
plug.
CLEANING THE WATER
FILTER
Clean the water filter periodi-
cally and free it of any impuri-
ties (fig. 14).
1. Slide the clamp of the filter
container from the bottom up-
wards and turn anticlockwise
to loosen. Remove the con-
tainer completely by unscrew-
ing, and tip out the water.
2. Remove the filter element.
3. Clean thoroughly, eliminat-
ing any impurities.
4. Reassemble the container
and filter element.
5. Tighten with the clamp.
REPLACING THE HIGH PRESSURE NOZZLE
The high pressure nozzle on the lance must be replaced period-
ically as this is a component exposed to normal wear and tear
during operation. Wear is generally associated with a noticeable
drop in working pressure of the appliance. Should replacement
be necessary, contact the supplier and/or dealer for instructions.
DESCALING
The appliance needs to be descaled periodically, as lime in the
water will inevitably form deposits internally of the water circuit
and the coil, so that the passages become obstructed over time.
Have this work carried out by an IPC-approved service
centre, whose technicians will ensure that you save money
and maximize the efficiency of your appliance.
