6. MAINTENANCE
CHANGING THE OIL
• Initial change: after 25 hours.
• Following changes: after every 100 hours.
• With a hot engine, extract the oil filter.
• Replace the oil filter after emptying the oil tank.
• Fill the engine with oil up to the top level of the oil
gauge and turn on the engine for a few minutes.
Turn off the engine and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Check the oil level again and refill if necessary.
• Always use clean oil of the recommended grade.
Contaminated oil, oil of low quality or scarce oil could
damage the engine, shortening its life.

CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
A dirty air filter will cause starting problems, loss
of power, running irregularities and will reduce
engine life.
•
Every 100 hours of use you must remove the
elements and wash them with detergent.
Assemble them once dry. Clean the foam
every 50 hours.
•
In extreme dusty conditions, clean the filter
each 30-50 hours, depending on the
conditions.
ATTENTION
Do not wash the elements with kerosene, gasoline or oil.
