The worktop shall be stored lying flat, or
vertically standing on its rear long side. Do not
open the plastic package until you are ready
to install the worktop. Store the unopened
worktop at normal room temperature (ca.
23°C) and relative humidity (45-55%).
1. Do not place the worktop next to a hot
radiator or lay it down flat on a cold
floor, because then it may warp.
2. A worktop to be mounted over a
dishwasher, washing-machine or oven
should be protected underneath with
insulation material resistant to moisture
diffusion and/or plastic sheeting.
Advice on use
The top layer of the worktop is moulded acrylic
plastic. This makes the surface non-porous,
smooth and easy to keep clean.
For daily cleaning a cloth damped in water,
if necessary with an addition of washing-up
detergent, is enough. Do not use cleaners
containing abrasives, ammonia or bleaching
agents. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
To retain the original surface of the worktop,
follow these recommendations:
─ Do not place hot objects such as
saucepans, baking trays or devices that
generate heat directly on the worktop.
Always use a pot stand or similar to
protect the surface. Boiling water and
hot splashes from cooking won't damage
the surface.
─ Do not work with a knife or any other
sharp object directly on the worktop
surface. The surface can get scratched
and the knife can become blunt. Always
use a chopping board.
