WARNING: Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture.
Your Good Earth Lighting® xenon under cabinet light is the perfect lighting solution for
kitchens, bathrooms, bookcases, entertainment centers, and study areas. We recommend you
read through the instructions entirely before starting your installation in order to help you
understand all the steps and options regarding your particular installation.
This unit has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature. This plug
will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord
unless the plug can be fully inserted. Do NOT attempt to defeat this feature.

Mounting Instructions

1
To make installation easier, a template has been included on the back insert card of the
package (the card with the UPC code on it). The template provides the center-to-center
distance where the mounting screws should be located. Cut along the dashed line,
position and tape the template to the surface where the fixture is to be installed. Drill a
small diameter hole where the lines cross to make a "+" in the center of each circle on
the template. Remove the template from the mounting surface. NOTE: Be sure to allow
enough space for the fixture to fit and be plugged-in.

1
Turn the light bar off and allow sufficient time for the unit and bulb (lamp) to cool
properly before handling.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Place the two small rubber grommets over the mounting screws (Fig. 1).
Screw in the two #8 mounting screws until the rubber
grommets contact the bottom surface of the

light bar to mount properly.

Align the key hole slots on the bottom plate of the light bar
over the mounting screws and firmly slide the light bar
over in one direction to lock it into place (Fig. 3). The light
bar can slide toward the front, rear or from side to side
depending on the spacing in your particular installation.
Fig. 3
The light bar should fit tightly up against the mounting
Once the light bar is in place, route your power cord to the
closest outlet. Your xenon light bar has a three position
rocker switch on the face of the unit. The center position is
the 'OFF' position. The other two positions offer you a 'HIGH'
or 'LOW' light level setting depending on your needs (Fig. 4).
