PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
Warning
• Warning! Users with implanted electronic equipment, such
as pacemakers and intracardiac defibrillators, must not use
the CEFAR MYO XT/CEFAR ACTIV XT. Pregnant women
should not use the CEFAR MYO XT/CEFAR ACTIV XT
during the first trimester, and should always consult a doctor,
midwife or physiotherapist prior to use.

• Do not stimulate on the front or sides of the neck, since a
drop in blood pressure can occur.
• Do not use the CEFAR MYO XT/CEFAR ACTIV XT if you
are connected to high-frequency surgical equipment, since this
may cause burn injuries on the skin under the electrodes, as
well as problems with the stimulator.
• Observe caution when using the CEFAR MYO XT/CEFAR
ACTIV XT in the immediate vicinity of cellular phones that
are switched on.
• Do not use the CEFAR MYO XT/CEFAR ACTIV XT in the
direct vicinity of shortwave or microwave equipment, since
this may affect the output power of the stimulator.
• Keep out of reach from children.

• The stimulator should only be used with skin electrodes
intended for nerve and muscle stimulation. See electrode pack-
age for instructions of use.
• The electrodes should only be placed on healthy skin. Avoid
skin irritation by ensuring good contact between electrodes
and skin. Hypersensitivity can occur in rare cases. If skin
