Storage
Store the column in eluent at 4 to 8 °C.
Do not store the column below 0 °C.
Regeneration
Ensure that the maximum pressure is never exceeded during regeneration.
If the pressure becomes too high, reduce the flow rate.
Depending on the type of contamination, proceed in accordance with the following instructions.
Contamination with low-valence hydrophilic ions
1. Rinse with ultrapure water (25 min at 0.1 mL/min)
2. Rinse with 10x concentrated standard eluent (100 min at 0.1 mL/min)
3. Rinse with ultrapure water (25 min at 0.1 mL/min)
4. Rinse with eluent (100 min at 0.1 mL/min)
Contamination with high-valence hydrophobic ions or organic contaminations
1. Rinse with ultrapure water (25 min at 0.1 mL/min)
2. Rinse with 100% acetonitrile (20 min at 0.1 mL/min)
3. Rinse with ultrapure water (25 min at 0.1 mL/min)
4. Rinse with 10x concentrated standard eluent (100 min at 0.1 mL/min)
5. Rinse with ultrapure water (25 min at 0.1 mL/min)
6. Rinse with eluent (100 min at 0.1 mL/min)

Sample solutions must be microfiltered (0.45 µm).

To protect the separation column, we recommend using the pulsation absorber (6.2620.150) to reduce the

injector pressure surges.
To avoid high backpressure when changing from/to organic modifiers, adjust the flow rate in small increments
