Introduction
This document is intended for experienced
engineers who are familiar with PAC products and
health and safety considerations.
Additional information on software installation and
operation is given in the documentation and help
files provided with the administration software.
All similar controllers on the system
should have the same firmware version
A firmware download to the new controller may be
required, see the help file for further details.

Training and Technical Support
Training courses covering the installation and use of
all PAC products are regularly held at PAC
Stockport.
For further information on course availability, or to
discuss your specific requirements, contact the
Training Manager at the PAC address.
It is strongly recommended that any persons
installing or commissioning PAC products attend a
suitable training course beforehand.
Technical Support for all PAC products is provided
primarily for the use of trained engineers. Technical
support is available during normal office hours:
08:30 to 17:30 (UK time) Monday to Friday,
excluding public holidays.
End users of PAC products should first of all contact
their installation or maintenance company before
contacting PAC.
One-Touch™ Testing
To speed up installation and testing, One-Touch™
testing is provided which allows the inputs and
outputs functionality to be tested at the controller.
There are two test modes:
View mode is for use on a configured system.
l
Active mode is for use during system configuration to
l
enable a system to be walk tested by a single person.
This is achieved by use of latching LED status which
indicate the first change in input condition.
One-Touch™ Testing table legend
The colour of the affected LED is stated in the One
Touch™ table on the next page.
