Inner padding - completely removable and washable on some
versions - made of high quality fabrics with specific character-
istics of comfort, breathability, and durability (see instructions
provided in this manual).

H - Ventilation System
New ventilation system consisting of:
TOP VENTILATION: The two upper air intakes convey part of the
air directly into the helmet for internal air circulation. The remain-
der of incoming air, which is directed to the upper aerator, flows
towards the rear section expelling stale air from the helmet. Air
change is thus assured through the two rear spoilers.
LOWER VENTILATION: the two lower air intakes channel the air
directly into the helmet and onto the inner surface of the visor to
reduce fogging.
L - Removable wind protector and breath deflector

1. Scratch Resistant Racing Visor: Flat visor with
uniform thickness made of scratch resistant Lexan®

Pulling up the visor
Rotate the visor upwards using the flap located at the bottom of
the visor.
1.2
Pulling down the visor
Pull the visor down by taking hold of the flap located at the bot-
tom of the visor.
1.3
Disassembly (fig. 1)
1.3.1 Pull the visor all the way up (see section 1.1).
1.3.2 Press and hold the visor release button (A) down and slide
the visor forward until it clicks (Fig.1).
1.3.3 Free the visor hooks (B1 e B2) from their housing.
1.3.4 Repeat the steps above on the other side of the helmet.
Important!
Do not remove the visor pull up/down mechanism from the shell.
If it fails or is damaged, contact an authorized Nolan retail shop.
1.4
Assembly (fig. 2)
1.4.1 Set the visor in open position by placing the visor hooks
(B1 and B2) in line with the housings in the visor mecha-
nism (Fig. 2)
1.4.2 Insert hook B1 in the housing provided and press the visor
against the shell in line with hook B2. This will actuate the
visor release button. (Fig. 2).
