Launching the Software
Click Start on the Windows
Use your camera to add live video to your instant messages.

Tips
Pan/Tilt/Zoom. Select "Camera Controls" from the QuickCam Windows
the camera software to activate this feature. Use your mouse and keyboard to pan left and right
or to tilt up and down.
Face Tracking. Activate face-tracking from within "Camera Controls" so that the camera can follow
your movements.
Camera Position. You can choose to have the camera return to the center, or home position,
every time your start your camera. Or you can choose to have the camera remain where you last
pointed it.
Lighting. Shoot videos with bright light sources behind the camera and out of the picture area.

Access the software help system to learn more about the camera and its software:
• From the QuickCam software, click the Help button.
• Use the Contents tab to browse by category.
• Use the Index tab to search by keyword.
