Operation
Cutting with the attachment comb
The appliance can also be operated with an attach-
ment comb.
f The attachment comb has 5 detent positions for
adjusting the cutting length.
f The further the attachment comb is pushed onto the
blade set, the shorter the cutting length.
The cutting length can be adjusted from 3 mm
(Fig. 6ⓐ) to 6 mm (Fig. 6ⓑ).
Attaching/removing the attachment comb
1. Slide the attachment comb onto the blade set
(Fig. 5ⓐ) in the direction of the arrow until it locks
in place.
2. The attachment comb can be removed by pushing it
in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 5ⓑ).
Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due
to incorrect handling.
f Switch off the appliance before cleaning it
or performing any maintenance and discon-
nect it from the mains.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration
of liquid.
f Do not immerse the appliance in water!
f Do not allow any liquid to get inside the
appliance.
f Only reconnect the appliance to the power
supply if it is completely dry.
Handle with care! Danger from aggressive
chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the appli-
ance and accessories.
f Never use solvents or scouring agents.
f Only use cleaning agents and blade set oil
recommended by the manufacturer.
