Product Specific Instructions

Storage and Transport
• Each connection should be removed before transport to
avoid breaking the connecting cables.
• Use sufficient insulation of the shipping packet to protect
components against damage.
General Installation Safety
WARNING Remote Start
Using the remote start functionality could unintention-
ally cause the tool to start.
Install emergency stop (EM Stop) devices on appro-

priate locations.
Configure the EM Stop connector on the controller
►
as described in the Product Instructions for the con-
troller.
Always make sure that the controller is turned off before
connecting or disconnecting any cables.
General Operation Safety
Position the equipment so that the disconnecting device is
within easy reach.
WARNING Risk of injury
A change in configuration to the tightening program
may cause unexpected torque, rotational direction, or
speed in the system(s) where the tightening program is
currently in use. This could result in severe bodily injury
and/or property damage.
Check the tightening program configurations after

adding a new program or after applying changes to
an existing program.
Be aware that any output signals to external devices may be
modified during power on and power off of the controller.
Products with TurboTight Tightening Strategy
• To minimize the risk of unexpected jerk at the end of the
tightening when using the TurboTight tightening strat-
egy, make sure to activate Time monitoring.
General Service and Maintenance Safety
The product must only be installed, operated and serviced by
qualified personnel in an industrial environment.
