6. TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

PROBLEM
The unit does not filter but
it recirculates the water.
The unit does not circulate
the water.
The unit only circulates a
little water.
The pump does not prime.
The housing fills with water.

REASONS
The filter is operating
without the cartridge.
No electrical power.
Motor protector is not
properly adjusted.
The filter is saturated.
Prefilter of the pump or
skimmer is blocked.
Air enters the suction pipe.
Water level of the swimming
pool is insufficient.
Incorrect voltage.
Pressure drops in suction.
Air intake.
The drain of the box has not
been installed.
SOLUTIONS
Check that the filter cartridge is
correctly installed.
Check the electrical connection and
ensure that electricity reaches the
socket.
Check the pump's consumption and
adjust the motor protector on the
control panel.
Perform a filter backwash.
Clean the pump prefilter or the
skimmer basket.
Check the condition of connectors and
suction pipe joints.
Fill the swimming pool until the water
covers half the hinged gate of the
skimmer.
Check that the mains voltage matches
the voltage indicated on the motor's
rating plate.
Check that no elements causing are
abnormal pressure drops.
Check all pipe connections and the
pump cover. Fill the prefilter of the
water pump.
Install a drain to remove water from
the box.
