This device can identify potential disruptions of the
heart rhythm when measuring by displaying the
symbol after a measurement.
This can be an indicator for arrhythmia, which is a
condition in which the heart rhythm is abnormal. The
symptoms (skipped or premature heartbeats, pulse
being slow or too fast) can be caused by factors
such as heart disease, age, physical makeup, excess
stimulants, stress, or lack of sleep. Arrhythmia can
only be determined by a doctor's examination.
If the
symbol displays after a
measurement, repeat the measurement
after 5 minutes. Do not speak or move
during measurement. If the symbol
appears frequently, consult your
doctor. Self-diagnosis and treatment based on these
measurements can be dangerous. Always follow your
doctor's instructions.
