The Tiger I tank, which has been produced in the second half of 1943, was based on the hull of the first
operational version used in North Africa and Russia. At the beginning this tank had wheels with rubber rim,
which will be replaced in the following productions starting from February 1944, but it was equipped with
the new turret with increased protection and better cupola for the commander. Besides some of these
vehicles maintained the characteristic system of dust filters Feifel, and the smoke grenade launchers. On
the tanks produced since August 1943 was also applied a magnetic mine paste that will become standard
on all tanks of the German Army.

Il carro armato Tigre I prodotto nella seconda metà del 1943 era basato sullo scafo della prima versione
operativa usata in Nord Africa e in Russia dotato di ruote con bordo in gomma , che saranno sostituite nelle
produzioni successive dal Febbraio 1944, ma era dotato della nuova torretta con protezione incrementata e
una migliore cupola per il comandante. Inoltre una parte di questi mezzi conservava caratteristico sistema
di filtri anti polvere Feifel oltre ai lancia granate fumogeni. Sui mezzi prodotti dall'Agosto 1943 venne inoltre
applicata la pasta antimine magnetiche che diverrà standard su tutti i carri armati dell'esercito tedesco.

Der Panzerkampfwagen Tiger I, der in der zweiten Hälfte des Jahres 1943 produziert wurde, basierte
auf dem Rumpf der ersten erprobten Version, die in Nordafrika und Russland eingesetzt wurde. Zum
Produktionsbeginn hatte der Tiger I gummierte Laufrollen, diese wurden ab Februar 1944 ersetzt, aber er
bekam einen bessere Turmpanzerung und eine bessere Kuppel für den Kommandanten. Zusätzlich erhielten
einige dieser Fahrzeuge den charakteristischen Staubfilter Feifel und Rauchgranatwerfer. Ab August 1943
erhielt der Tiger I zum Schutz vor Haftminen eine antimagnetische Beschichtung, die zum Standard auf allen
deutschen Panzer wurde.
