20 Cleaning and Maintenance

This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining
the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device
incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.

20.1 Safety information

Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device:
► Before cleaning take the power plug out of the outlet.
► Clean the unit with a soft cloth.
► Don't clean the device with inflammable detergents.
► Clean the device thoroughly when you want to use it again after a long period of time.
► Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
► Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
► Do not scrape off stubborn dirt with hard items.
Cleaning
The jug should be cleaned inside and outside after each use. You can clean it in the
dishwasher or with lukewarm water and a little dishwashing detergent.
You can also use the hot milk function for cleanting. To do this, pur 100 ml water with a
drop of dishwashing detergent into the jug with insert which was previously used. Place
the lid and start the device. After this rinse the jug with lukewarm water.
The ild and the inserts can be cleaned in the dishwasher or with lukewarm water and a
little dishwashing detergent.
Thoroughly dry all components. Use a soft cloth to clean the
base.
Storage of the inserts
You can stow the insert that is not required in the magnetic
recess on the underside of the device.
