Universal Flaring Tool, adjustable 4 - 16 mm

INTENDED USE
This tool creates 90° flares for aluminium and copper pipes with a diameter of
4.7 - 16 mm (3/16" - 5/8").
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Before using, check all components for damage.
• Do not use the tool if it is damaged.
• Keep children away from the work area. Never let children play with the tool or its packaging
• Only use this tool for tasks for which it is intended.
• Tighten the clamping spindle sufficiently tight. If the clamping spindle is not tightened sufficiently,
the pipe in the clamping element can slip during the flaring process. A clean flare will not be
possible.
1. Turn the clamping spindle (2) counter-clockwise. The
clamping element (5) must be opened sufficiently for the
pipe diameter.
2. Slide the pipe through the clamping element (5) and make
sure that the pipe protrudes sufficiently.
3. Clamp the pipe by turning the clamping spindle (2)
clockwise.
4. Turn the spindle of the flaring element (1) until the flaring
pin (4) is above the end of the pipe.
5. Using the clamping element (5), lock the flaring element (3)
by turning it 45° clockwise.
6. Turn the spindle on the butterfly handle (1) clockwise until
the 90° flare is produced.
