STEP 2
REMOVE THE BELT CONT.
3. Slowly release the right idler arm
4. Remove the belt from the motor pulley groove
5. Push the left idler arm to the left
6. Remove the belt from its groove on the left idler
pulley
7. Remove the belt from the dryer

REMOVE THE DRUM
• Place one hand underneath the belt at the top of the
drum while firmly gasping the front lip of the drum
with the other hand. Lift the drum up and pull out.
STEP 4
REPLACE GAS VALVE
1. If the dryer has the STEAM DEWRINKLING feature,
there will be a protective metal casing housing the
gas valve. To access the valve, remove three Phillips-
head screws and lift to release casing.
2. Disconnect the wire harness from the automatic
valve (1st stage and 2nd stage) and from the Igniter.

STEP 4
REPLACE GAS VALVE CONT.
3. Remove the two screws at the front of the bracket
and remove the gas valve assembly. Be careful not
to damage the ignitor.
4. Install the new LP (Propane) gas valve assembly.
5. Secure the gas valve assembly bracket with two
screws. Be careful not to damage the ignitor.
6. Connect the wire harness.
7. Turn on the gas supply. Check for leaks using an
ammonia bubble solution.
WARNING:
to test for gas leaks.
8. Check manifold pressure: Unscrew the plug from the
manifold pressure tap and connect a pressure test
gauge. Reconnect the electrical power to the dryer.

9. Start the dryer without the drum and the drive belt
(make sure to disengage the belt switch by lifting
the Right Idler Arm and to connect the door switch).
Motors should run, the igniter become red hot
and the flame should turn on in some 30 seconds.
Read the test gauge pressure while the flame is on.
Flame will cycle on and off. The pressure should be
between:
HI FIRE
2nd stage ON, 1st STAGE ON
cm (8.5"), max 23.1 cm (9.1") of water
LO FIRE
2nd stage ON, 1st STAGE OFF
cm (5"), max 14.22 cm (5.6") of water
NOTE: If pressure needs adjustment, tune only the HI
FIRE. If the HI FIRE is ok but the LOW FIRE pressure
is out of range, gas valve is defective and should be
replaced.
