Instruct children on how to handle the
model correctly and bring their attention to
possible danger.
Bear in mind that unforeseeable situations
may arise from the natural playful tempera-
ment of children for which the manufacturer
cannot be held responsible.
Although danger to children is essentially
ruled out if the model is used correctly you
should supervise play.
Use exclusively dry and dust-free cloths to
clean and care for the model and remote
control module.
Please make sure that the model is never
picked up from the floor when the wheels are
turning.
Do not bring fingers, hair and loose clothing
near the rear axle, the wheels, the trough or
the rear coupling if the model is switched on
(operating switch set to "ON").
In order to avoid the model starting up
unforeseeably the storage battery should be
removed from the model after use.
Please check the original SIKUCONTROL
charger and the original SIKUCONTROL
mains plug regularly for damage. If there is
any damage neither the power pack nor the
charger may be used until the repair has been
completed.
The specified storage batteries and battery
types are to be used exclusively to operate the
model and the remote control module.
In order to guarantee the design-related
safety level of this model on a long-term basis
it should be checked regularly by an adult for
any visible damage.
SIKU toy models are manufactured according
to the latest safety requirements. Not suitable
for children aged 3 years and under due to
small parts which may be swallowed. The
packaging contains manufacturer information;
please keep. Subject to colour and technical
amendments.
Please read the operating instruc-

The charger may only be used in dry rooms.
The storage battery may only be charged
under supervision of an adult. Charger rated
voltage 230 volts
50 Hz.
Do not discard used storage batte-
ries with household waste. Please
observe the special disposal require-

Charging the battery
Please only use the original SIKUCONTROL
battery charger to charge the storage battery
(Fig.
). It can be purchased as an acces-
sory under Art. No. 6703 (with euro plug)
and 6704 (with British Standard plug). A bat-
tery charger is also supplied with the control
tractor sets Art. No. 6753 and 6754.
THE FIRST TIME YOU START:
A) Operation with the remote control
module
The tipping and lights functions of this trailer
can be activated using the SIKUCONTROL
remote control module. Using the supplied
data cable please connect the storage battery
of the trailer and the storage battery of the
tractor but plugging the respective ends of the
data cable into the corresponding sockets of
the storage batteries (Fig.

Activate the tipping function on the
remote control module by operating the
joystick (Fig.
). Pushing the joystick up-
wards causes the trough to be lifted.
Pushing the joystick downwards causes the
trough to be lowered.
Tipping functions in the two-way
tipper
This model can tip the trough body either to
the right or to the left as required.
a) Tipping to the left
If tipping to the left is required, the bolt
(fig.
) attached to the rear by means of a
small metal chain must be placed into the cor-
responding guide on the left of the back of the
vehicle underneath the trough
(fig.
).
b) Tipping to the right
If tipping to the right is required, the bolt
(fig.
) attached to the rear by means of a
small metal chain must be placed into the
corresponding guide on the right of the back
of the vehicle underneath the trough. Then, the
side lock on the left side of the vehicle must be
opened and closed on the right side of
the vehicle. Once the right side
panel has been unlocked (fig.
), the tipping process can
begin.
