Important notice
Never use the soup maker without food and liquids inside (the minimum being 200 ml).
Cut food into a maximum of 2 x 2 cm pieces before placing it into the soup maker.
Use the "Soup" scale to fill the soup maker in the "Clear soup, Cream soup, Sauce and Puree" programmes,
i.e. min. 800 ml / max. 1,400 ml.
Use the "Cold" scale to fill the soup maker in the "Smoothie and Milkshake" programmes, i.e. min. 750 ml / max. 1,750 ml.
Never lift the jar from the base when running a programme and during manual or pulse blending.
Do not use the appliance for chopping meat and preparing crushed ice – risk of damage to the stainless steel blades!
Do not use the glass jar in a microwave oven.
TO IMMEDIATELY STOP THE APPLIANCE IN ANY PROGRAMME, PRESS "START/STOP"; THE PROGRAMME WILL STOP
IMMEDIATELY.
Filling
(see the inset in the brochure)
Place cut food and liquids into the glass jar (1).
Switching on
Set the filled jar onto the base and put the lid on so that the handle of the lid and the handle of the jar are aligned (2).
"Start/Stop" will light up and – – – – will begin flashing on the display (3). Press "Start/Stop" on the control panel; the time
00:00 will appear on the display – the soup maker is ready for use (4).
Using the appliance with programmes
"Clear soup" programme
To prepare clear vegetable stock and meat broth, press
will appear on the display. Press "Start/Stop"; the soup maker will start to count down the time and cook a clear soup. An inter-
mittent sound signal will be activated after the programme ends, the time 00:00 will appear on the display and the programme
will end automatically (valid for all programmes).
Lift the glass jar from the base, slightly rotate the lid counter-clockwise and remove it from the jar.
Notice: Be very careful when removing the lid and pouring – the food is hot.
"Cream soup" programme
To prepare blended vegetable and cream soups, press
will appear on the display. Press "Start/Stop"; the heating indicator will appear on the display (intermittent lines running
continuously across the display) and the soup maker will bring the food to boil. The cooking time in minutes, 24:00, will subse-
quently appear on the display, the soup maker will start to count down the time and blend intermittently until a creamy soup
is cooked.
"Sauce" programme
For preparing blended sauces, press
display. Press "Start/Stop"; the heating indicator will appear on the display (intermittent lines running continuously across the
display) and the soup maker will bring the food to boil. The cooking time in minutes, 15:00, will subsequently appear on the
display, the soup maker will start to count down the time and blend until a sauce is cooked.
"Puree" programme
To prepare blended, boiled vegetable and fruit purées, press
will appear on the display. Press "Start/Stop"; the heating indicator will appear on the display (intermittent lines running
continuously across the display) and the soup maker will bring the food to boil. The cooking time in minutes, 11:00, will subse-
quently appear on the display, the soup maker will start to count down the time and blend until a purée is cooked.
