Please read these instructions thoroughly to explore the possibilities of the device to take
full advantage and to avoid operating errors! Please keep this manual for future reference
and pass it on to other users of the device.
GENERAL:
■
For initial use discharge the battery ( 5424 10 1 / 5424 20 1 ) completely and then charge
fully.
■ Rechargeable batteries have to be charged every 3 months to remain functional, even if
the light is not in use.
CHARGING INSTRUCTION:
■ Turn off all lights prior to charging
■ Charge battery only with the delivered chargers.
■
Insert the plug of the charger into the charging socket on the top of the battery (DC)
■
Charging with power supply voltage: connect the charger to the 230 V female plug
■
Charging in the vehicle: connect the car charger to the car's cigarette lighter
CHARGING OF ACCESSORIES:
■
Charging via the USB-interface: connect to mobile phone, Tablet-PC etc. using an USB
cable (not contained in the delivery)
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
The battery is equipped with 2 coupling hooks. Loosen the coupling hooks on the top and
the bottom, then remove the battery from the light.
DISCHARGE INDICATOR:
Displays the battery's present state of charge. If the charge drops below 10 %, the dis-
charge indicator starts to blink. In addition 5 time flashing shows at the spotlight that the
state of charge is below 10%.
When charging the state of charge is also displayed.
CHARGING PORT AND USB ADAPTER:
The charging port for charging the battery with the supplied chargers is underneath the
cover. The additional USB-port can be used for e.g. charging the battery via mobile phone.
FUNCTION KEY „FRONT":
You can switch the work light on / off with the function key „FRONT":

Press second time
