GENERAL RULES

● The present booklet is an essential part of the product, and as such should be given to the installation
engineer.
Carefully read the instructions contained within this manual as they provide essential information con-
cerning the safety of installation, of use and of maintenance of the product.
Keep the present manual in a secure place, so that it can be referred to whenever deemed necessary.
The installation of the burner must be carried out in accordance with existing regulations, following the
manufacturer's instructions, and by qualified persons. Incorrect installation could lead to the risk of
injury or damage , for which the manufacturer declines all responsibility .
● This burner must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed. Any other use should be
considered inappropriate and potentially dangerous. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for
any damage caused by inappropriate, mistaken or unreasonable usage.
● Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations, ensure that the burner has been disconnected
from the mains supply: this can be done either using the installation's power-off switch or by means of
other specifically-designed disconnection devices.
● In the case of breakdown or faulty operation, disconnect the burner and do not on any account attempt
to repair it yourself, as repairs can only be carried out by professionally-qualified staff. You should
contact a service center authorized by the manufacturer, which will then carry out repairs using only
original spare parts.
If the above advice is not followed, then this could lead to the burner's safety being put at risk.
In order to guarantee that the burner works properly and efficiently, the manufacturer's instructions must
be followed, and periodical maintenance operations must be carried out by qualified personnel.
● Should it be decided not to use the burner any further, then those parts which could be dangerous need
to be rendered harmless.
The conversion from one kind of gas (natural gas or liquid gas) to another must only be carried out by
qualified personnel.
● Before using the burner for the first time, have a qualified technician check that:
a) the rating given on the data plate is the same as that of both gas and electrical power supplies;
b) that the burner's rating is compatible with the boiler's capacity;
c) that the flow of combustion air and the expulsion of flue gas are both in line with current regulations;
d) that both the aeration and normal maintenance of the burner are possible.
● Each time the gas cock is re-opened, wait a few minutes before re-igniting the burner.
● Before carrying out any operation involving the dismantling of the burner or the opening of inspection
covers, switch off the electrical supply and turn off the gas cocks.
● Do not place containers of inflammable substances in the room where the burner is located.
● Should you notice the smell of gas, do not turn on/off any electrical switches. Open windows and
doors. Turn off the gas, and call a qualified technician.
● The room where the burner is located must have those openings to the outside required by those local
regulations in force. Should you have any doubts as to the circulation of air in the room, then you should
