Remove a Clog in the Base
Step 3: Locate and remove clog from the power nozzle
you may remove the power nozzle from the main body of the
cleaner to locate the clog in the neck of the power nozzle.
Step 4: Reattach the clean-out port door
into position and rotating the door into the base until the latch
snaps into place. Ensure that the latch is secure. Do not use the
vacuum without first reattaching the clean-out port door.
CAUTION: Turn off the power switch and unplug the electrical cord
to service.
Brushroll Reset
This vacuum comes equipped with a brushroll circuit protector which turns

off in the event of a stall situation. The check brushroll

light
will turn on when the brushroll stalls. The circuit protector can be
reset by following the procedure described below.
Step 1: Turn off the vacuum and unplug it.
Step 2: Remove the obstruction from the brushroll
Step 3: Plug the cleaner back in and turn the vacuum on to continue
cleaning.
Step 4: For optimal performance periodically remove hair and threads

Clean Dust Cup Filter
CAUTION: Turn off the power switch and unplug the electrical cord
to service.

Step 1: Remove dust cup

Step 2: Remove dust cup lid
Step 3: Shake and brush the dust and dirt from filter. If desired, launder
the filter by hand in warm water using a mild detergent. The filter
may be washed up to 6 times. Air dry thoroughly before replacing
in cleaner.
Note: The dust cup filter is not dishwasher safe. Do not put in
dishwasher.
