ential current of not more than 30 mA.
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency,
and performance of the power supply corresponds to the values shown on the appliance's
rating plate. The plug must fi t into the socket. It is forbidden to modify the plug in any way.
The power supply circuit must be fi tted with a protective conductor and at least a 16 A pro-
tective device.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces. During the oper-
ation, the power cord must always be fully extended and the position of the power cord must
be set so that it does not become an obstacle during the operation. The power cord should
not be placed in a manner that would pose a risk of tripping. The power supply socket should
be located in a place where it is always possible to quickly remove the device's power cord
plug. Always pull the power cord by the plug housing when unplugging it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply
and contact the manufacturer's authorised service centre for replacement. Do not use the
device with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug cannot be repaired. If
these parts are damaged, they must be replaced with new ones that are free of defects.
APPLIANCE OPERATION
Connecting the power cord
Warning! It is required that a qualifi ed electrician performs the power cord connection.
Warning! Before opening the on/off switch junction box, make sure that the junction box power cord plug has been
disconnected from the mains outlet.
The power cord requires a connection inside the on/off switch junction box. To do this, loosen all the screws fastening the cover
and then remove the cover (III).
Unscrew and remove the nut and gasket, then place them on the end of the pump's power cord (IV).
Loosen or, if necessary, completely unscrew the screws fastening the pull-off . Then insert the pump's power cord through the
opening in the on/off switch junction box housing so that the end of the power cord's outer insulation is over the pull-off socket (V).
Insert the seal into the opening and tighten the power cord fastening nut (VI). Install the pull-off so that it blocks the pump's power
cord (VII). Do not tighten the screws too much to avoid damaging the thread.
Connect the cable cores to the cable connector in accordance with the cable insulation's colour scheme. A cable core with a
specifi c colour of insulation should be connected with the cable core with the same colour of insulation factory installed in the
connector . Install by unscrewing (not completely) the screw in the socket of the electrical connector, inserting it into the socket of
the core and then tightening the screw (VIII). Make sure that the screw is tightened with the correct amount of force. To do this,
lightly pull the cable core and check that it does not slip out of the electrical connector.
Once all the cores have been installed, mount the cable junction box cover with all the screws.
Power cord extension
Warning! It is required that a qualifi ed electrician makes the power cord extensions.
If the length of the power cord is insuffi cient, an extension should be made by attaching an additional cable to the pump's power
cord using a cable joint. The additional power cord must have cores not smaller than the cores of the pump's power cord. The
cross-sectional area of the core is marked on the internal insulation of the power cord. The joint used to connect the two cable
sections must have an IP protection class no lower than that of the pump listed in the technical data table on the rating plate of the
unit. The size of the joint should be chosen so that it fi ts into the well shaft and does not deform the outlet hose.
Connecting the outlet hose
The water outlet is equipped with a thread to which a hose connector must be connected. If a hose with the inside diameter
smaller than the water outlet diameter is used, the pump capacity will decrease. The hose connector is not included in the scope
of delivery of the pump and must be purchased separately. When tightening the hose connector to the pump outlet, use only the
appropriate amount of force to ensure that the connection is tight. Excessive force can damage the thread or gaskets. If necessary,
use sealing tape for threads or tows.
Lowering the pump into the deep bore well
A deep bore well should be constructed in accordance with local regulations. The walls of the well shall be protected in such a way
