DRIVING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS
1.
Drill a pilot hole of correct size as recommended by screw manufacturer for
fastener.
2.
Install the proper bit that fits the screw.
3.
Set the torque-adjusting collar for the desired torque and set the speed
selector to LOW.
4.
Set the screwdriver for the correct rotation.
5.
Position the bit in head of the screw.
6.
Place the end of the screw into the pre-drilled hole, remove your fingers, and
drive the screw.
7.
As soon as screw is seated, remove the screwdriver.
DRIVING MACHINE SCREWS
1.
Drill and tap the correct hole size for fastener.
2.
Start the screw in hole with your fingers. Drive as outlined under "DRIVING
WOOD SCREWS".
TO REMOVE SCREWS
1.
Set the torque adjusting collar for maximum torque and set the speed selector
to LOW.
2.
Install the proper bit that fits the screw.
3.
Set the screwdriver for reverse rotation.
4.
Place the bit in the head of the screw. Remove the screw.

KEEP TOOL CLEAN
Periodically blow out all air passages with dry compressed air. All plastic parts
should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. NEVER use solvents to clean plastic
parts. They could possibly dissolve or otherwise damage the material.
Wear ANSI Z87.1 safety glasses while using compressed air.
FAILURE TO START
Should your tool fail to start, check to make sure the prongs on the cord plug are
making good contact in the outlet. Also, check for blown fuses or open circuit
breakers in the line.
