3. Disconnect chest clip halves and buckle
tongues by pressing chest clip and
buckle buttons.
4. Place your child in the infant car seat,
as shown.
• Ensure that your child's body makes full contact with the
infant car seat without slouching.
5. Insert each buckle tongue into the buckle until you hear an
audible "click. "
• DO NOT use the infant car seat if the buckle tongues do
not "click" in place. If they do not

6. Snap the chest clip halves together
until you hear an audible "click. "
• Ensure the chest clip is secure by pulling outward on it. The
chest clip halves should be fully engaged and not separate.
