10. Ensure the infant car seat handle is in a locked into position.

ALWAYS use the restraint straps and ensure that they are
snug. A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a
relatively straight line without sagging. It does not press on
the child's flesh or push the child's body into an unnatural
position. Ensure that restraint straps are not twisted.
8.3 Removing Your Child from the Infant
Car Seat
1. Press the harness release button.
2. Pull the harness straps outward and away from the seat to
loosen them.
3. Raise the headrest.
4. Disconnect the chest clip halves and buckle tongues by
pressing the chest clip and buckle buttons.
5. Place shoulder harness straps to the sides of the seat.
6. Remove your child.
