INTENDED USE
The product is intended for light trimming of
shrubs and lawn edges in domestic use.
SAFETY SWITCH
The safety switch is designed to prevent
accidental starts. To operate safety switch,
press the release button with your thumb on
either side of handle to disengage the lock,
then pull the trigger (Fig. 1). When the trigger
is released the button will engage the safety
switch automatically, and the trigger will no
longer operate.
CUTTING WITH YOUR SHEAR
Hold the shear away from yourself. Stand in a
secure and stable position.
SHRUB SHEAR
Cutting hedges: Before cutting check the
hedge for foreign objects e. g. wire fences.
Cut stems up to 8 mm in thickness. When
cutting, move steadily along the line of cut, so

unit is too hot or too cold, the charger will not
fast charge the battery. (This may happen if
the unit is hot from heavy use). When the

• Cut evergreen shrubs in April and August.

Edging: Guide the shear along the edge of
the lawn. Do not allow the blade to contact
paved surfaces, stones or garden walls, this
will wear the blade rapidly.
