2. USB charging function:
• Connect the "Delta Plus" charging unit to the 100 V–240 V power supply unit or the vehicle
power supply unit.
• Check whether the green USB LED (A) switches on. If it does not, press the USB button (C)
once (see illustration). The LED (A) should now switch on.
• Now, connect your USB device (MP3 player, digital camera, etc.) to the USB port (B).
Your USB device should now switch to charging mode.

• Insert four completely charged NiMH/NiCd AA rechargeable batteries into the

• Switch to the USB charging function (see item 2) and then connect your USB device
to the USB port (B).
After recharging is complete, deactivate the USB mode so as not to waste power
in the rechargeable batteries.
Notes:
This device does not have an individual slot monitor. For this reason, you should always
charge two batteries of the same capacity in each double slot to avoid differing charge
states in the batteries when charging is completed. Never charge AA and AAA rechargeable
batteries together. Use only NiCd/NiMH rechargeable batteries. Never insert conventional
batteries. Observe the enclosed safety and disposal instructions.
