4. L & R: Left & Right output for connecting the front loud-
speakers (front left channel use white color, front right
channel use red color)
5. C: Output for connecting the center loudspeaker (Cen-
ter channel use yellow color)
6. LS & RS: Output for connecting the Left & Right surro-
und loudspeakers (surround left channel use green co-
lor, surround right channel use brown color)
• Note: When connecting the lead, ensure the correct po-
larity of the output sockets! The each color connections
of the loudspeaker outputs on the subwoofer must be
connected to the each color sockets of the appropriate
loudspeaker!
• The above also applies to the black sockets (black
connected to black)!
Installation of the Front and Surround Loudspeakers
1. Please insert the two parts of the upright tube into one
another.
Screw the foot on to the upright tube.
2. Please pass the loudspeaker cable through the upright
tube.
3. Then insert the loudspeaker on to the holder.

Operation instructions

1. Connect the sound source (e.g. DVD player).
2. Connect the mains lead to a properly installed 230 V/
50 Hz shockproof socket. Switch on the device with the
on/off switch on the rear. The STANDBY display lights
up.
3. Start the sound source.
4. Press the STANDBY button on the remote control or
the POWER button on the device. The blue light strips
of the subwoofer light up.
5. Select the desired sound source using the INPUT SEL
button on the remote control or on the device.
6. With the VOLUME/ADJ control keys on the remote con-
trol you can set the overall volume.
7. By pressing the buttons CEN +/-, SUR +/-, SUB +/-,
LEFT +/- and RIGHT +/- on the remote control it is pos-
sible to adjust the volume of the individual
loudspeakers.
8. If you are in the CD/AUX input mode you can activate
the Dolby Surround Pro Logic function (DSP) by pres-
sing the DSP button.
9. When during any operate condition pressing the MUTE
key the system will be silence.
10. The INFO indicator condition:
Flashing quickly:
• In the meantime press the buttons VOL +/-, CEN +/-,
SUR +/-, SUB +/-, LEFT +/- or RIGHT +/-. For maxi-
mum or minimum the display is off.
Flashing slowly:
• The sound of the system is switched off by pressing
the MUTE button.
11. The system can be switched to the standby mode by
pressing the STANDBY button or the POWER button
on the device.
12. In order to switch off the device, turn the on/off switch
to OFF.
13. When all the LED displays for AUX/CD/5.1CH and
INFO light up the system protection is activated; there
is a fault: e.g. short-circuit of the loudspeaker cable.
