bébé-jou aquasit 4170 (1) manual. Please read this manual carefully before you start using the aquasit and keep it
somewhere safe in case you want to consult it again at some later stage.
Aquasit 4170. The aquasit offers your child a comfortable support and makes sure your child can enjoy a stable position in the bath
with his or her head up. The aquasit is adjustable and can grow with your child from 0 to approximately 8 months.
Instructions for Use. A small child is vulnerable. Therefore make sure you never leave your child alone and always hold him or
her whilst bathing! You can set the aquasit by pulling the adjustable support upwards and moving it either forwards or backwards
(A). The support will be in the right position when your child's arms are positioned in the concavity. Push the support back down
again after you have finished adjusting it, allowing it to be secured in place. Always check to make sure the surface you are planning
on positioning the aquasit on is smooth and wet the suction pad. You can then position the aquasit in the baby bath (B). Press the
suction pad down firmly and check it by trying to pull the aquasit up again. Now fill the baby bath with water up to the level indicated
on the aquasit (C). Make sure the bath water isn't too hot. The ideal bath water temperature is between 35 and 37 degrees (99 °F).
It's important for your child's shoulders to also be immersed in the water during the initial weeks, in order to make sure these can't
cool off too much. Don't bathe your child for too long and make sure you dry him or her thoroughly. Make sure your child stays warm
at all times and avoid any major temperature fluctuations.
Warnings! For your baby's health and safety!
BEWARE! Never leave your child unattended! An adult always needs to be present to hold and support the child in order
to prevent drowning! Never react to any external influences.
- Children can drown very quickly and can do so in very low water (approx. 2cm).
- The aquasit offers no protection against drowning. Children have drowned in the bath.
- If you have no option but to leave the room, then always take your child with you.
- Do not use when your child can sit independently.
- Always make sure the baby bath is positioned on a stable surface.
- Always check the water's temperature before putting your child in the bath.
- Make sure the aquasit has been set up properly and has been effectively secured to the baby bath.
- Never fill the bath passed the level indicated on the aquasit (C).
- Never fill the bath up using the tap whilst your child is in the baby bath.
- Make sure your child can't reach the tap whilst bathing.
- The aquasit can be used for children up to a maximum weight of 8 kg.
- The aquasit can no longer be used when the suction pad cup isn't working any more.
- We recommend using a bébé-jou baby bath (2,3), but the aquasit could possibly also be used with other types of baby bath. Please
do pay careful attention to the measurements and stability.
Cleaning. You can easily remove the aquasit from the baby bath by pulling on the suction pad's tab (C). Clean the aquasit with
lukewarm water and mild soap and subsequently dry it with a cloth. Never use chemical cleaning agents. Never store the aquasit in
such a way that the suction pad can become deformed.

Handleiding bébé-jou aquasit 4170 (1). Lees deze handleiding zorgvuldig door voordat u de aquasit gaat gebruiken en
bewaar deze om eventueel later te kunnen raadplegen. De veiligheid van uw kindje kan gevaar oplopen indien u deze
instructies niet opvolgt.
Aquasit 4170. De aquasit biedt een comfortabele steun aan uw kindje en zorgt ervoor dat uw kindje stabiel in bad ligt met het
hoofdje naar boven. De aquasit is verstelbaar en groeit mee van 0 tot ca. 8 maanden.
Gebruiksaanwijzing. Een kindje is kwetsbaar. Laat uw kindje daarom nooit alleen en houd uw kindje te allen tijde vast tijdens
het badderen! U kunt de aquasit instellen door de verstelbare steun omhoog te trekken en deze naar voren of achteren de
verschuiven (A). De steun staat op de juiste stand wanneer de armen van uw kindje bij de holling terecht komen. Duw na het instellen
de steun weer omlaag, zodat deze vast zit. Controleer altijd of het oppervlak waar u de aquasit op wilt plaatsen vlak is en maak de
zuignap nat. Plaats hierna de aquasit in het babybad (B). Druk de zuignap goed vast en controleer dit door de aquasit nog even
omhoog te trekken. Hierna vult u het babybad met water tot aan het niveau welke aangegeven staat op de aquasit. Zorg ervoor dat
het badwater niet te warm is. De ideale temperatuur van het badwater is tussen de 35 en de 37 graden (99 °F).
In de eerste weken is het belangrijk dat ook de schouders van uw kindje onder water zijn, zodat deze niet kunnen afkoelen. Badder
uw kindje niet te lang en droog het goed af. Zorg ervoor dat uw kindje warm blijft en voorkom grote temperatuurverschillen.
Waarschuwingen! Voor uw baby's veiligheid en gezondheid!
OPGELET! Laat uw kindje nooit onbewaakt achter! Er moet altijd een volwassen persoon bij het kindje aanwezig zijn
om het vast te houden en te ondersteunen om verdrinking te voorkomen! Reageer dus nooit op invloeden van buitenaf.
