INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. General description
The entry signalling device with wireless motion sensor can be used to indicate
the presence of a person in a room (e.g. entering a shop) or to alert about
the appearance of unwanted persons in protected areas. It is perfect for such facilities
as shops, hotel receptions, warehouses, offices, etc. – wherever the s staff may
be located in a room other than the customer. The set consists of a motion sensor
acting as a transmitter and a sound – generating receiver. The maximum distance
between the transmitter and the receiver is 100 m in an open area. When motion
is detected, the sensor sends out a signal to the receiver by radio waves. The receiver
starts playing the preset sound. There are 16 sounds and melodies to choose
from, including emergency sound. The motion sensor also has a second mode
of operation where it generates an alarm signal by itself when motion is detected
without involvement of the receiver. It then acts as a simple mini-alarm.
2. Initial activation and setting
of the operating mode
Before the first activation, insert the batteries into the transmitter
and receiver (batteries are not included). The transmitter also
has possibility of powering with 9-15 V DC power supply instead
of batteries (appropriate socket is located on the upper part
of the sensor – see fig.).
Next, select one of the two transmitter modes using the switch (1):
– Mode 1 – standalone operation of the motion sensor – the sensor
plays the alarm signal by itself when motion is detected – in this
mode the receiver is not used and the sensor acts as an independent
minialarm for alarm sound only (no melody to choose from).
– Mode 2 – operation with the receiver – the sensor sends a radio
signal to the receiver when motion is detected and the receiver plays
the preset sound, or melody (16 sounds available). Setting the switch
(1) in the OFF position switches the motion sensor off completely.
3. Melody selection
To select the desired receiver melody, press button (2). Every pressing
sets the next melody/sound signal.
4. Volume adjustment
You can set 5 volume levels on the receiver using button (3).
