BATTERY-POWERED WIRELESS BELL PICO ST-915
TECHNICAL DATA
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. General description
The bell may be used as: a doorbell, an internal calling device or a personal alarm device. The doorbell
installation network is not needed. Both the button and the bell are battery operated. 433 MHz frequency
is used for signal transmitting and receiving. The bell operating range reaches approx. 100 meters in open
area. There are 20 different sounds and melodies to select from. The bell is also equipped with optical ringing
signalling useful e. g. for hearing-impaired people and volume adjustment.
2. First operation
Open the bell button and insert the battery before the first operation (battery for the transmitter is included).
Batteries for the receiver are also to be inserted (batteries for the receiver are not included and have
to be purchased separately).
3. Melody selection
To select the desired melody, press button(2) located under the battery cover. Every pressing of the button
sets the next melody to be played after pressing the transmitter.
4. Volume adjustment
You can set 2 volume levels using switch (1), located under the battery cover in the bell.
5. Assigning the remote control
The remote control is paired with a given bell at the production stage, so it does not require any configuration.
Receiver
• Power supply: 2 x battery 1.5 V
type AA
• Current draw in ringing mode: 20 mA
• Current draw in standby
mode: 0,5 mA
• Operating frequency: 433 MHz
• Bell sound: 20 melodies
to select from
• 2-step volume adjustment
• Optical ringing signalling
• Sound level: ca. 85 dB
• Appliance class: III
• Ingress protection rating: IP20
• Temperature operating range:
from 0°C to 35°C
• Dimensions: 75 x 118 x 35 mm
* The operating range presented above refers to open area under ideal conditions, with no obstacles. If there
are obstacles between the receiver and the transmitter, one should expect a decrease in the operating range
for, respectively: wood and plaster by 5 to 20%, brick by 20 to 40%, reinforced concrete by 40 to 80%. It is not
recommended to use the radio systems in case of metal obstacles, due to a significant limitation of the operating
range. Also aerial and underground power engineering lines of a large power capacity and GSM transmitters in close
proximity of these devices have a negative impact on their operating range.
