2. To blow off air
When you replace the seals, air can get into the hydraulic oil. This may result in the
forks not rising during the pumping process when the lever is set to "ASCENT". The
air can be removed by setting the control lever (1017) to the "LOWER" position and
then moving the handle (1100) up and down several times.
3. Daily inspection and servicing
The daily inspection of the unit can limit wear to a large extent. Pay special attention
to the (3116A, 2317A or 2317), the axles (2313, 2314, 2308), the lever (1017), the
forks (2100) and the up and down control. The forks should always be unladen and in
their lowered position after completing the work.
4. Lubrication
All moving parts should be lubricated at regular intervals with engine oil or grease.

Troubleshooting
1) The forks cannot be raise to their maximum height
Too little oil in the tank
2) The forks cannot be raised
No oil in the tank
The oil is contaminated
The outlet valve is maladjusted
Air is getting into the oil

Top up the oil
