7 Operation
After connecting the camera to the power supply,
it is ready for operation. The LED POWER (7)
lights up.
1) After switching on the monitor, adjust the
camera to the surveillance zone.
2) Adjust the distance on the lens. In case of a
lens with manual iris control, adjust the iris to
optimum picture reproduction (depth of focus
and brightness).
3) If the picture is out of focus despite a correctly
adjusted distance, readjust the mechanical
focus setting for the lens. For this purpose,
release the two hexagon socket screws (4)
with the supplied hexagon socket screw key.
Adjust a clear picture by slightly turning the
threaded ring (3). Then retighten the screws.

4) In case of a lens with automatic iris control (AI
lens), the video signal level for the iris control
can be readjusted if the picture is too dark or
