3. Before initial use
Use a socket with a rated current of 10 A or more. Do not use the socket simulta-
neously with other electrical appliances with higher power.
Make sure that the temperature regulator is in "MIN" position before connecting
the appliance. Ensure that the supply voltage corresponds to the voltage specified
on the type plate.
Add water and / or food items to the bowl and make sure that the total amount
of water and / or food item does not exceed 80% of the capacity to avoid any
spillage.
This appliance is suitable for melting cheese, chocolate and for heating sauces or
broth.
It is not unusual if smoky smells emanate from the surface of the heating element
when the appliance is used for the first time.
