Quick Start Instructions
1.Place 3 pcs AA alkaline batteries (not supplied) into the compartment
2.Plug the AC Adapter into a standard house outlet. Plug the other end of the adapter into the DC jack on the
back of the radio. Prioritize the use of external power supply when there is an external power supply available.
(Warning: This radio can only use the 5V AC adapter included in the package. If you connect to other AC
adapters with different voltages, it will cause permanent damage to the radio)
3.Pull out the antenna and extend it to its full length above the weather radio. Please insert the external antenna
into the antenna jack if you have it.
4.Ensure the radio's NOAA mode is on by clicking the switch on the back of the radio to "ON", and you will see
NOAA on the display.
5.Set Time. Press MENU button to enter setting mode, press ∧ and ∨ buttons to SELECT Set Time, press OK
button to enter sub-MENU, press ∧ or ∨ buttons until current hour is displayed. Then press < to save current
hour and advance to minute settings. Program both minute digits the same way. Then press MENU button to exit
setting mode.
6.Set Language. Press MENU button to enter setting mode, press ∧ and ∨ buttons to SELECT Set Language,
press SELECT button to enter sub-MENU, press ∧ or ∨ buttons until the desired language is displayed. Then
press MENU button to exit setting mode.
7.Set Location. Press MENU button to enter setting mode, press ∧ and ∨ buttons to SELECT Set Location,
press SELECT button to enter sub-MENU, press ∧ or ∨ buttons to SELECT ANY, Single or Multiple (see 3.4
about more details)
8.Set Channel. Press MENU button to enter setting mode, press ∧ and ∨ buttons to scroll through MENU to Set
Channel then press SELECT to enter sub-MENU, press ∧ or ∨ buttons to SELECT the desired channel. Only
by SELECTing the channel that matches the local location, the radio can correctly receive the alarm information.

9.Set Events. Press MENU button to enter setting mode, press ∧ and ∨ buttons to scroll through MENU to Set
Events then press OK to enter sub-MENU, press ∧ or ∨ buttons to SELECT All On.
10.Set Volume. Press VOLUME+ or VOLUME- to set the desired volume level.
11.Press SELECT button to store the setting, and press MENU to exit setting mode.

9. If the current button is valid on the current page, there is a "Di Di" sound while pressing the button. If it is
invalid, there will be "DoDo" sound.
