Odour sensor
When active, the odour intensity level is detected. When certain odour
intensity threshold is reached, the fan will start at the appropriate
speed.
•
When odour intensity is reduced, the fan will slow down to a lower
speed until it eventually stops completely.
•
When there no reduction in odour intensity, the fan will continue to
run.
•
When odour intensity rises, fan speed will increase.
In high odour intensity, the fan will run at speed 4 and then speed will
be reduced by one speed level at 1 minute intervals until it stop com-
pletely.
Activate automatic odour detection and calibrate the sensor: In normal
conditions when no food is cooked in close proximity to the appliance,
connect your kitchen hood to the power supply. After 5 minutes, press
and hold
for about 2 seconds. The
adjacent dot will flash for 1-2 minutes (depending on the conditions in
the room it may take longer). Flashing dot indicates sensor calibration.
When the dot stops flashing (and disappears), the sensor is properly
calibrated and now the hood is in automatic mode.
Press and hold
Note: Each time you activate the automatic operation, the sensor will
be calibrated. When the hood is disconnected from the power supply
(power outage) and activate the automatic operation, the sensor will be
calibrated.
