REPLACING THE BATTERY
WARNING
Always disconnect both test probes before replacing the battery.
Electric shock or damage to tester may result.
1. Disconnect both test probes from circuit being tested.
2. Position tester face down on a clean, flat surface.
3. Open battery door, using a small slot-head screwdriver. Lift out the
battery holder and carefully unsnap battery from connector.
4. Install a new 9 V battery by snapping connector to battery top.
5. Replace the battery in the tester, checking wires so that they will
not be pinched when battery door is closed.
6. Close battery door.
Please think of our environment when you dispose of your used
batteries.
Batteries may leak if the tester is unused for long periods of time.
Severe damage may result. Always remove batteries if the unit will not
be used soon.
WARRANTY
The 6711 Digital Voltage Tester has a limited lifetime warranty. Greenlee warrants to the original purchaser
for use that Greenlee 6711 Digital Voltage Tester by Greenlee Textron Inc., will be free from defects in
workmanship and material for the useful life of the tool, excepting abuse and normal wear. This warranty
does not cover damage due to tampering, misuse, loss, unauthorized alterations or repairs. To avoid service
charges, always check battery before sending tester in for warranty service or repair.
Should the 6711 Digital Voltage Tester fail due to defective materials and/or workmanship during the
warranty period, return it to:
