vehicle door.
• Regularly check the technical condition of the harness, paying special attention to the
fasteners/holders, seams and adjustment elements.
• Discontinue use of the car seat if its parts are damaged or loosened after an accident.
• In case of an emergency situation, it is important to quickly unfasten the seat belts. This
means that the belts release button is not fully secured; make sure your child knows that
s/he is not allowed to play with the buckle.
• Do not use the seat at home. It is not suitable for home use and it should only be used
when travelling by car.
• The back of the seat must rest flat against the back of the car seat. Please make sure that
the headrest dues not create an unwanted space between the car seat backrest and back
seat of the vehicle. Some car headrests constitute an obstacle to the installation of a car
seat and must therefore be disassembled first.
• The adult safety belt buckle must not be located too close to the bottom of the child seat
armrest. If in doubt about this issue, contact the child seat manufacturer.
• You should give your child a good example and always fasten your belts. An adult with
unfastened safety belts may also be a threat to the child.
• Before each trip by car, make sure that the seat is properly secured.
• The car seat must be protected even when not in use. Unattached seat can cause injuries
to passengers even during emergency braking.
4.1 Headrest height
A properly positioned headrest ensures even distribution of the car seatbelt's shoulder
segment and protection and comfort of the child. ATTENTION. The shoulder strap should run
between the child's shoulder and neck. The headrest should be positioned appropriately to
fit the child's head.
• Grab the positioning lever (F) located in the back of the headrest and pull it gently upwards.
The headrest will be released.
• You can now adjust the headrest to the desired height. When you adjust the height, release
the positioning lever and the headrest will lock in the set position.
Place the booster seat in the car seat. Place your child in the seat and check the height of the
headrest. Attention! If necessary, repeat the headrest adjustment process until you achieve
the optimal height.
4.2 Adjusting the backrest
The booster seat backrest is easily adjusted to the position of the car seat. For best protection,
the car seat should be in vertical position (e.g. for adjustable seats – front passenger seat).
• The booster seat backrest is adjustable, which means that it can be precisely adjusted to
the car seat surface. Tilt the backrest back until it is against the car seat.
