Compulsory head protection
Connection to the extension pole

Mount the extension pole (16) or (17) onto the tool (turn it clockwise). Screw it onto the body (9) until it is secured in
place. Turn it anti-clockwise to disassemble it.
•
Make sure that the air filter (2) located on the fitting (1) is clean and correctly installed.
Disconnect the tool from the air supply hose before carrying out this operation.
Do not work on trees or stairs, as it is extremely dangerous.
Before starting to work with the tool, wear suitable protective clothing.
Connection to the air supply

Make sure that the safety catch (7) is engaged.
•
Check the mesh filter and clean it, if necessary.
•
Connect the supply hose to the fitting (1) having first made sure that the fitting is thoroughly clean. The inside diameter
must be at least 6 mm.
Just use compressors or pneumatic equipment complying with the current laws and fitted with a maximum safety
valve.
•
Make sure that the air hose is in perfect condition. It shall not be bent or damaged in any way.
•
Adjust the air lubricator fitted on the compressor so that a drop falls every 7/8 seconds. When necessary, add
the oil recommended by the Manufacturer.
Control devices
To start the harvester, the safety catch (7) must be kept in its forward position. Press the control lever (8).
To stop the tool, release the control lever (8).
Delivery and handling
The tool is packed and transported from the manufacturer to the dealer using a carton box. The total weight is 1,000 kg,
so the unit is easy to be handled without any special aids.
The handling of loads must be carried out in compliance with the current workplace safety rules. Use the box for
storing the tool for medium or long periods or for sending the packed product to a Service Point for repairs.
