Tool starting

Put on the personal protective equipment shown in picture (E) and make sure that all safety systems and protective devices
are correctly installed and fully operative.
Just use compressors or pneumatic systems which comply with the current Laws and are fitted with maximum
security valves.
Turn on the tool only after it has been placed between the branches. An erroneous use would cause the tool
early wear- and-tear and excessive air consumption.
Do not run the tool empty, it could damage the structure.
Use the tool only for the aims described in "Product Description". Any other kind of use may cause injuries.
Firmly hold the handle with both hands and then proceed as directed below:
a) Hook a branch with the tool and manually press the tool operating lever (8).
b) After all the fruits have come off the branches, release the control lever (8) to stop the tool, then repeat the operation
from step a).
If the tool gets entangled or stops among the branches, disconnect the air supply hose and manually unlock the
tool.

Troubleshooting

All the following maintenance operations shall be carried out by a maintenance technician.
FAULT
The tool does not work.
The tool loses power.
Air comes out when the op-
erating lever (8) is pressed.
The tool is stalled.
If the above remedies do not solve the problem, contact an Authorized Service Point.

Routine maintenance

Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the tool from the compressed air hose.
All the maintenance operations which are not mentioned in this manual must be carried out at an Authorized
Service Point.
Routine maintenance operations can be carried out by the operators.

CAUSE
The air flow regulator on the
compressor is closed.
The air hose is clogged.
The air supply hose is dirty.
The compressor pressure is too low.
The piston (34) is not lubricated.
The valve (3) seal is worn out or dam-
aged.
The small piston (20) and the pad
(24) are worn out.
REMEDY
Adjust the pressure by means of the air flow
regulator.
Disconnect the air hose and make sure the fit-
tings are in perfect condition and clean inside.
Disconnect the supply hose and blow in com-
pressed air to remove any dirt.
Check the compressor pressure.
Check the oil level in the compressor lubrica-
tor.
Remove the valve (3) on the handle (6) and re-
place the seals even if only slightly worn.
Check the wear-and-tear of piston, pad and
seals.
