6.1.1

General

Before any maintenance operation:
• Engage the safety catch (23).
• Disconnect the compressed air hose.
6.1.2

Lubrication

• Periodically check the oil level in the lubricator of the compressor.
Do not use hydraulic oil or oil for braking systems. They may cause irreversible damages.
6.1.3

Cleaning the handle valve (3)

• Unscrew the valve tap (4).
• Carefully remove the spring (5) and the valve (3).
• Check the seals and replace them even if only slightly worn out.
• Blow compressed air onto the stem and seat of the valve, then assemble it again by following the operations in reverse.
6.1.4

Replacing seals (34) and shock absorbers (31) of the piston (34)

• Loosen the locking nut (14), unscrew the hook (15), remove the cylindrical pin (12) and the screws fixing the flange (11).
• Remove the piston (34) and the piston shaft (33), and replace the seals (32) and shock absorbers (31) even if only
slightly worn out.
• Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble the parts.
6.1.5

Replacing small piston (20) and pad (24)

• Loosen the screws (18) that fix the front distributor body (23).
• Remove the stainless-steel plate (25), paying attention to the special seals (26).
• Remove the distributor plugs (19) and then the small piston (20).
• Check the seals (38) and pad (24) and replace them even if only slightly worn out.
• Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble the parts.
6.1.6

Cleaning and putting the tool away

• At the end of work, it is good practice to pour some 15w30 oil drops into the air fitting (26), located on the handle (6),
before putting the tool away. To do this, make the tool idle for few seconds.
• If you do not use the tool for a long time, store it inside its packaging in a dry and dust-free place.

Special maintenance

Any special maintenance operation must be carried out at an Authorized Service Point.
