All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.

    Dash Disassembly 99-7338B Kia Forte/Kia Forte Koup 2010-up 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2. Unclip and remove the A/C vents. (Figure A) 3. Remove (4) Phillips screws securing the radio trim panel assembly. (Figure B) 4.

    Kit Assembly 99-7338B Kit preparation 1. Snap the hazard button into the hazard PLASTIC PLASTIC switch bracket. PLASTIC PLASTIC 2 Attach the hazard switch assembly to the radio housing with the supplied (4) 1/2” inch Phillips screws. 3. Attach the climate control to the radio housing using the factory hardware.

    Kit Assembly 99-7338B DIN head unit provision 1. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 2 Slide the DIN cage into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down.
