2. BEFORE USE

Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging material.
Make sure all parts and accessories are included, and check that they do not show any signs of
damage. If there are any, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Clean the plates with a soft, dampened cloth.
Dry them with a cloth or paper towel.
Slightly grease the non-stick baking plates with some oil or butter using an absorbent kitchen
towel.
Wipe off any excess oil.

3. OPERATION

Note: When the appliance is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odour. This is
normal and does not affect the safety or operating of your appliance.
Set the temperature knob to the desired setting. It is suggested to turn it to maximum
temperature at first, and then adjust it.
Choose "Low" for light-coloured waffles and "High" for darker and more cooked waffles
Connect the device to the power supply. The power and ready light indicators will turn on,
indicating that the appliance has begun preheating.
Allow the appliance to preheat until the ready indicator goes off. This indicates that the
non-stick plates have reached the correct temperature for cooking.
For best results, por some oil drops in the cooking surface and use kitchen paper to spread it
along the whole surface before use. This will assist in the removal of the waffles after cooking.
Pour the mixture into the non-stick plates using a spoon, a jug or a piping bag.
