2. BEFORE USE

Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of
damage are observed, contact Cecotec's Technical Support Service immediately.
Before using the device for the first time, operate it for 10 minutes without any food on it. This
will help removing the scent that the device emits when used for the first time. The device may
also emit some smoke. Keep the room ventilated during this process.
Make sure the device is on a stable surface.

3. OPERATION

Plug the device in.
If it is the first time it is going to be used, we recommend dropping a little bit of oil on the
surface and wipe it with a dry cloth.
Turn the switch to MIN to start pre-heating the device. This should take 5-8 minutes.
We also recommend keeping a distance of 15 cm from the wall.
Place the pan under the heating element. Turn the switch to position "1". The indicator light will
flash, indicating that it will start heating immediately. Metallic surfaces will become hot. Do
not touch them.
Turn the switch to position "0" when you are done cooking.
Unplug the device if it is not going to be used for a long time.
The appliance may emit a little smoke and/or odour when turned for the first time.
Use a wooden spatula to turn the food or remove it so the plate is not damaged.
Do not use any pan that does not match the one included with the appliance.
