2. Place the protective plastic straps onto the support rod
(Fig. 4).

3. Lift the ejector flap with one hand. With the other hand,
hold the grass collection bag by the handle and hook it in
from above (Fig. 5).

4. Release the ejector flap to secure the grass collection bag
in position (Fig. 6).

Side-discharge Chute Assembly + Fitting
The side-discharge chute sweeps grass clippings swiftly from
the cutting chamber, enabling you to cut taller grass without
clogging the mower deck.
1. Raise the spring-loaded ejector flap. Fasten the

CAUTION!
The grass bag and the side-discharge chute cannot be
used together.

ejector flap. Check to make sure the chute is securely
