Caution
•
For hygienic reasons, do not share your shaving system with other
persons.
•
Periodically check the cord for damage. In case of a damaged cord, take
the charger to a Braun Service Center for replacement. A damaged or non-
functioning unit should no longer be used.
•
Before plugging the charger into an electrical outlet, check whether the
voltage printed on the charger corresponds to your local mains voltage
supply.

Charging
The best environmental temperature for charging is between 60 °F to 95 °F /
15 °C to 35 °C. Do not expose the shaver to temperatures higher than
122 °F / 50 °C for extended periods of time.
•
Using the special cord set (7), connect the shaver or the charging stand (8)
to an electrical outlet with the motor switched off.
•
When charging for the first time, leave the shaver to charge continuously
for 4 hours.
•
The green charging light (4) shows that the shaver is being charged. When
the batteries are fully charged, the charging light intermittently blinks on
and off. This indicates that the battery maintains its full capacity.
•
Once the shaver is completely charged, discharge the shaver through
normal use. Then recharge to full capacity. Subsequent charges will take
about 1 hour.
•
A full charge provides up to 45 minutes of cordless shaving time depend-
ing on your beard growth. However, the maximum battery capacity will
only be reached after several charging/discharging cycles.
