Problem
3 long signal tones without
flushing
No flushing or reduced
flushing
Not possible to start up

8. Maintenance

8.1 Monitoring the battery status

If 3  long signal tones sound before flushing occurs, the battery charge level is low. After this
happens, a maximum of 50 – 100 further flushes can occur.
> Replace the battery as soon as possible.
If 3 long signal tones sound during use and flushing does not occur, the battery is empty.
> Replace the battery immediately.

8.2 Conducting a system diagnosis (S3)

If there is no flushing or reduced flushing, you can conduct a system diagnosis to find the fault.
Refer to page 2 for a diagram showing the signal sequence
> Hold the magnetic key in front of the right-hand sensor.
Within approx. 3 seconds, several short signals will sound. Then 6 long signals will sound.
> Remove the magnetic key.
2 short signal tones will sound to confirm the system diagnosis.
The following diagnosis results can occur:
Cause
Battery is low or empty.
Dirt filter is not clean.
Angle valve is closed.
Battery is empty.
Hose is pinched or kinked.
No connection between the
control unit and the solenoid
valve.
Solenoid valve is faulty.
Start-up has already occurred. > Perform a reset
Battery is empty.
Power supply cable has been
connected incorrectly.
No mains connection.
Power supply is faulty.
Control unit is faulty.
Solution
> Replace the battery.
> Start the system diagnosis
(see chapter 8.2).
> Clean the dirt filter
(see chapter 6.3).
> Open the angle valve.
> Replace the battery.
> Check the hoses.
> Check the connection
cable.
> Replace the solenoid valve.
(see chapter 4.2).
> Replace the battery.
> Connect the power supply
correctly.
> Connect the control unit to
the mains power.
> Replace the power supply.
> Replace the control unit.
