4 Undo the two screws in the bottom of the handle with a
screwdriver.
5 Remove the bottom part of the handle and cut the two wires that
connect the bottom part to the appliance.
6 Pull the battery connectors off the battery terminals with long
nose pliers.
7 Pull the rechargeable batteries out of the appliance with long
nose pliers.
8 Cut the two wires one at a time to ensure that no mishaps due to
possible residual charge occur.
