6.2.1 General check
Object
Hand grip (Fig. 1.C).
Screws on the machine.

Throttle control (Fig. 8.A).

6.2.2 Machine operating test
Action
1. Insert the battery in one
of the compartments of
the battery backpack
(par. 7.2.3 ).
2. Use the connection
cable (Fig. 10 ) to
connect the machine to
the battery backpack.
3. Select the battery using
the selector (Fig. 7.B).
4. Press the throttle
control (Fig. 8.A).
1. Release the throttle
control (Fig. 8A).

6.3 START-UP

1. Adopt a firm and well-balanced position;
2. make sure that the blower tube is not
directed towards any bystanders or debris;
3. use the specific connection cable (Fig. 10) to
connect the machine to the battery backpack;
4. select the battery using the selector (Fig. 7.B);
5. press the throttle control (Fig. 8.A).
Result
Clean, dry, correctly
and firmly fastened
to the machine.
Correctly tightened
(not loose).
Not clogged.
Correctly installed.
No signs of damage.
No signs of damage.
No damage to the casing,
no liquid leakage.
No signs of damage
or wear.
No signs of damage.
It must move freely
and not be forced.

Result
The machine
starts and the rotor
starts rotating.
The control should
return automatically
and quickly to the
neutral position
and the machine
should stop.

6.4 OPERATION

DANGER
During operation, the machine must
always be held firmly with the right hand
on the upper handgrip (Fig 11).
ATTENTION
During operation, the battery is
protected against total drainage with a
protection device that switches off the
machine and inhibits its operation.
6.4.1 Adjusting the speed
It is always advisable to set the rotor speed in
relation to the type of material to be removed
using the throttle control lever (Fig. 8.A):
• low blowing speed to move light material
and small branches on the lawn;
• medium blowing speed to move grass and
light leaves on asphalt or packed soil;
• high blowing speed for heavy materials,
such as fresh snow or bulky dirt.
6.4.2 Operating suggestions
• Proceed slowly keeping the end of
the blower tube at a suitable distance
from the ground (Fig. 11).
• To avoid dispersing the material to be
removed, direct the air flow towards the
outer edges of the pile of material.
• Never direct the air flow to
the middle of the pile.
6.5 STOP
To stop the machine:
1. Release the throttle control lever (Fig. 8.A);
2. wait until the rotor stops.
DANGER
It takes a few seconds for the rotor to stop
after the machine has been turned off.
ATTENTION
Always stop the machine when moving
between different work areas.
